Fearless - Youth Church Conference
2OBJECTIVES
The Fearless Conference brought together over 5,300 youth for a weekend of worship, teaching, and leadership development at the Orange County Convention Center. Our objective was to deliver an immersive production experience that ensured every attendee could engage with the worship sessions, keynote speakers, and dynamic visuals, all while maintaining a safe and efficient environment for students and staff.
CHALLENGES
Visibility and Impact: With a crowd of 5,300, it was critical to design a video and lighting system that made worship sets visually powerful and accessible from every seat.
Safety: Ensuring clear pathways, proper lighting, and safe movement for thousands of students throughout the venue was a top priority.
Logistics: Managing the delivery, setup, and programming of large-scale AV systems across a tight two-day load-in schedule required precise planning and coordination.
SOLUTIONS
To meet these challenges, our team designed and deployed a large-scale AV package.
Audio: 6 hangs of PA, including 52 total boxes of d&b V8, J8, and J12 loudspeakers, supported by 20 B22 subwoofers for powerful, even coverage across the entire arena.
Lighting: A dynamic rig of 82 fixtures, including Maverick Storm 2 Profiles, Chauvet R2X Washes, ADJ Jolt FX Bars, VLZ Profiles, and Beam 19E Washes, ensured impactful worship atmospheres and functional crowd wash for safety.
Video: A 12' x 30' 2.9mm DVS LED wall provided crystal-clear visuals, making content and live IMAG accessible from every seat in the house.
Execution: Careful pre-production, detailed load-in planning, and close collaboration with event organizers ensured the full system was installed, tested, and show-ready on time.
RESULTS
The result was a seamless, high-energy worship environment where every student felt fully engaged, safe, and part of the larger community experience.
